Custom order lead time:
Hand made takes time. Orders are made in the order that they are received. Lead times will vary (sometimes 4-8 weeks other times 8-12 weeks. Some times of the year are busier than others, award orders and the holiday season wait times can be longer. And please note if I provide a lead time, it is just an estimate. It may be completed sooner and it might be a bit over. I know that if you have an order in then you are very excited with anticipation. One thing can be promised... your custom item is worth the wait.
Shipping:
Most items ship USPS. I offer discounted rates for local pick-up at my leather working studio (Contact me for details). For orders in the Spee-Dee Delivery area zone (click here to see zones) I generally use them as they have competitive rates and as their name suggests they are very speedy!
If your custom item is shipped during a free shipping offer it will be an economy shipping method, if you desire the package to be insured, please contact for rates. If you desire a specific carrier please contact me first for special rates.
Payment methods:
I accept cash, check and major credit cards processed through paypal (currently). It is preferred to have custom work paid in full, though if you do wish I will accept a non-refundable payment of 50% down to start working on your custom order. Your remaining balance is due when your item is completed prior to shipping but no more than 10 days after the completion date.
Business hours:
I have no set business hours right now. Our ranch is remote and we are without cell phone service so still the best way to reach me is via e-mail. With that being said I will replay to your emails/ messages when I am home and online, just about any time of the day.
Returns/Exchanges:
Most everything is made to your specifications, custom for just you, so is you are wanting something special make sure to note that, or contact me before ordering. I do not accept returns on any custom items. So double & triple check to make sure you have everything down you want before I start making it. I can help you in deciding just contact me and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
